Hey there! I'm Adam, and my journey into the electric skateboarding (Esk8) world started with a simple need: the year round thrill of the carve and the freedom of movement. What began as curiosity quickly turned into a passion, and now, it’s a way of life.
Living in Colorado, I’ve been a skiier and snowboarder for as long as I can remember. In 2015, I found myself in New York City and watched a man in a suit glide past me on a hoverboard, checking his phone. My mind started spinning. Could I transform my love of snow sports into a year round obsession?
The first time I stepped onto an electric board, I was hooked—I loved the rush of carving through the streets and navigating dirt trails. I dove deeper into the community, learning about DIY builds, battery setups, and the best boards for every terrain. Along the way, I met incredible riders, traded knowledge, and found my community.
In 2020, I was introduced to a fellow enthusiast (Cris) who helped me build my first DIY. He was a close friend of Dave from West Coast Standards. At the time, Dave was creating decks that set the bar for quality built, thoughtfully crafted decks, and I chose the Vizzini for my first complete build. Dave sadly passed away in 2022 and thanks to his family and Cris, now his custom molds live on through KyndBoard as a way of honoring him and keeping his legacy alive.
Our decks are all one of a kind, hand cut and sanded from 9-ply maple. We can customize most to your specifications, including color, stain and unique finishes. No matter your style or skill level, we have a deck for every rider. Whether you're carving through the city or hitting off-road trails, we’ll help you find the perfect deck for your build.
So, charge up, gear up, and let’s ride!
